The Moment that Dictates the Future
When I was in high school, I thought I wanted to be a photographer and I went to college to do just that. After taking two years of photography courses, I liked photography but I didn't feel connected to it. My goal in life was to find a career I'm passionate about and love. While I was struggling to find my place in life, I accepted a job at a preschool. I fell in love with my job! I had a moment of clarity, this was what I was waiting for. Teaching kids made sense to me, and it was clear that this is what I needed to do for the rest of my life. The feeling I get when I am around kids is amazing. To be a part of their life and to help them learn is awesome!
I am currently at College of Saint Mary working on my Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Special Education. I will graduate in December 2017. |
